"I discovered Laoban through a TikTok reviewer, which piqued my curiosity to try it. Last Sunday, I visited with my family, friends, and their families, including our children. The menu offers a variety of food choices, including bread, dim sum, bao, noodles, and different types of rice. The food is very family-friendly, with quick service and good taste. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. This could be an excellent option for eating out when you're not in the mood to cook at home."

"A great breakfast place in a somewhat hidden location. Highlights of the menu for me are: - bubur (porridge) spesial - salted egg chicken rice - kaya toast (very good choice of bread and kaya jam) - teh tahlua You can also ask for extra mala sambal which personally works for a lot of meals I’m partly submitting this five star review to BEG YOU to check it out because it’s getting quite empty during the once-peak breakfast hours. Hopefully they would still last; would hate to not see these people again"

"Overall, I had a great dining experience here! The curry noodles had a rich and flavorful broth with a nice balance of spices. The chicken was tender and the portion was quite filling. The Hainan noodles were lighter in taste but still very delicious. The chicken was juicy and paired really well with the sauce. For the drinks, the iced Milo was creamy and chocolatey — perfect for Milo lovers. The lemongrass tea was refreshing and aromatic, which helped balance out the richness of the meal. As for the ABCD ice dessert, the flavor was refreshing and the sweetness was just right. However, I found the peanuts to be a bit hard, which slightly affected the overall texture and enjoyment. Hopefully this can be improved in the future"

"Budget friendly restaurant totally worthy of visiting. The jasio noodles were delicious, with a big chunk of chicken but dry and would definitely be better with some broth. Same story with the Hainan noodles. The porridge was really hot, thick, and tasty with lots of topping. The cheese toast was crispy and okay. The onsen eggs were fresh and perfect . The black pau was visually wonderful, tender, slightly sweet, and the salted duck egg yolk filling was okay and slightly sweet. The fried dimsum wrapped in tofu skin was delicious. The dimsum with coconut milk broth was tender and tasty. The onde-onde, when eaten cold, became very chewy, and the salted duck egg yolk filling was the same filling of the black pau. The egg coffee was really nice, of the perfect level of sweetness, not very creamy, and had absolutely no eggy smell. The butter coffee was nice, although I couldn't taste the butter. The milk tea was nice too, refreshing and not too sweet. The restaurant was nice and clean, the service was great. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch experience. Bravo!"
